These aren't all my customs but these are some of my favorites.

Cat in the dark...
OK, so it wasn't that dark, but he was under the covers in bed (the comforter is black).

It's @pinkberry for @SierraRein's birthday! (at Columbus Circle)

Green Tea/Chocolate for me and original/chocolate for Sierra. Yummmmmm!

Messing around with Action Shot for Android. Interesting results!
Not bad for first attempts and a free app!

Uhm.... I don't want to know what goes into this kind of udon! No! Seriously! DO NOT WANT TO KNOW!
A classmate of mine found this dish at a really good Japanese noodle place during our lunch break from our 4-day intensive language classes at the Japan Society today.
No, I did not order this. I went with the tan-tan udon and it was oishii!
Incidentally, if you are not familiar with what the word "bukkake" means, you probably DON'T want to look it up. If you decide to anyway DON'T DO A GOOGLE IMAGE SEARCH FOR IT!
You can't unsee what you have seen!
Actually, there is a non-dirty definition of this word but if you're the right kind of person, it still sounds dirty. :P

Damn, it's BRIGHT out! And it's kind of nice, too. 52 degrees...
Maybe spring has finally sprung? (Still not early enough for me!)

Dainobo (a conbini on E 47th) has Japanese Kit Kat bars!
I usually try to avoid sweets but Japanese Kit Kats are famous for being more tasty than ours. Plus they make a good reward for making it halfway through my intensive language study classes. :) Banzai desu!

How I'm prepping/studying for next weekend's intensive #Japanese language classes at @JapanSociety
Note my furry study-buddy asleep on the couch in the background. Maneki neko--NOT! ("Maneki neko" are those white cat statues that are thought to bring good luck.)
@JayThePal and @KayThePal support @MarqueeFive and hope you will, too!
Marquee Five has a Kickstarter campaign going to help them raise money for a CD of their last concert, "8-Track Throwback". Please watch the video above or head to their Kickstarter page to listen to some of their music and to find out why you should help!
If you're just joining us, one of the founders of Marquee Five is TheWife. :) So if you can contribute, please do! Thanks! Here's that Kickstarter URL again:
I AM AMERICA (AND SO CAN YOU BE MARKED DOWN TO $9.98)
Poor Stephen Colbert! How will his ego handle his book being marked down by more than half?
I'm sure it happens to a lot of guys.
I just want to know why the title is yelling at us.
Got this non-Invoice recently: for $65 they'll submit my website to 20 established search engines! WOW!
Did this spam letter get mailed from 1998??? Nope, the date on it is Feb. of 2011. Who is dumb enough to pay for this service in today's world?
Ever see a Lamborghini pulled over by a New York City Cop? After this pic you have.
Snapped this down by 42nd St and Broadway last Sunday on the way to an Oscar-watching party. I just want to know what idiot drives such an expensive car in Manhattan. Get a limo, moron--it's obvious you can afford it!
Actually, in almost three years of living in NYC, I have yet to see a limo.

Recently saw this on a neighbor's door O_O (apparently someone died inside)
I wonder how long that apartment will be sealed off. And, yes, I digitally smudged the handwritten stuff on there. I would imagine not doing so could cause problems. Ah well, life in the big city!

My favorite new toy is also the hardest trading figure to put together EVER
Drossel (from the really fun anime Fireball) looks awesome but those little black things are so hard to manipulate even with tweezers. The first pic has a microSD card in the shot just for scale. Now look at the little black parts all over her. After three hours I had managed to break a peg for her ear and still couldn't get all of the smaller pieces on. The vendor was awesome enough to send me replacement parts which is why her ear on in the later shots.
I'm not sure if she and Andy Android are an item or not...
Wells Fargo comes to New York City and Wachovia Leaves.
Gah! I hate Wells Fargo. They were my first bank when I moved to LA. I left them to go to a credit union which I later left when I quit a job. Gave Wells Fargo a second chance after that only to leave them again for Union Bank of California which I finally left when I moved to NYC. So what do you think? Third time's the charm? ;P
I took this walking up Broadway at 70th St on 2/28/11.

Saw this on the wall of the tunnel that leads from Broadway to the 191st stop of the 1 Train.
On the 59th St A Train Platform before Vignette app and after.
These pics are from 2/13/11. I'm at home today, sadly.

Currently: in the lobby of the Empire State Building waiting for my buddy, Stew, to meet me
He works up stairs. This lobby is gorgeous! I've been here before (years ago) but I don't remember it being like this at all.
Huge Lego Buildings pics taken on my last trip to Toys R Us in Times Square (2/4/11)
These Lego buildings are gorgeous. I just wish they'd ID them because, while they're all NYC buildings, some I recognize but simply don't know the names of. :/
2 after-the-fact Shots of the Pro-Egypt rally in Times Square on Feb 4, 2011
After work that day I wandered up to TS to discover the post-rally clean-up being finished up. Metal fences unlinked and clumped together, ready to be loaded onto the back of a truck and a few people crowded around another truck that served as the focal point of the rally. Check out the dude wearing the Egyptian flag as a cape. Well done, sir! Nothing says "I love my country!" like wearing its flag like a piece of clothing. Geh...

Pics from Chicago (the Musical)'s Fan Day 2011
Back in January Chicago did a show for Facebook fans only. It was fun to see such a classic musical for free. Thanks, Chicago!
