2 YEARS AGO TODAY: TheNYCMove Day 1v2: We're in Baaaaarstow!

Two years ago, today @Siskita and I were on the road to NYC. Below is the video she (TheWife) shot of me in our first hotel of the trip, located in Barstow, CA. It's an in-joke as to why I pronounce it "Baaaaarstow." Maybe I'll tell you about it when you're older.

Anyway, here's the video plus the exact text that I sent along with the video when I posted it to Utterz (a now defunct file sharing site):

Please forgive my appearance–it’s been a looong couple of days! Apologies for slow replies–T-Mo on my Sidekick seems fine with voice but spotty with data, so pictures may be uploaded only at night when our hotels have Internet.

Wow, does it ever feel good to be out of Los Angeles! And tomorrow we’ll be out of California, too. SWEET!

OK, going to try to reply to some comments and soak in the tub for a bit–I don’t think I have a muscle in my body that isn’t aching right now. Then tomorrow, it’s on to Utah! HUZZAH!
