Draw Every Day #196 7/14/12: It's a Cat

I really should have called this "It's a CARTOON Cat" but oh well. I clearly wasn't going for realism--just trying to push myself. I rarely draw animals (well, aside from people). Usually a draw anthropomorphized animals, which basically amount to humans with animal heads. And it turns out that it took me a lot of tries just to get to a point at which I felt like what I was drawing actually looked like a cat. I kept ending up with dogs. But finally, I figured it out.
