The results of last night's Lego labors of love! I built *3* Empire State Buildings and @siskita built a plant factory!

Here they are! ThePete's Lego Empire State Buildings RGB Edition!

I followed the PDFed instructions I downloaded from http:// brickset.com as best as I could. The red ESB is obviously not the right color, but is part-for-part accurate. Meanwhile, the other two had substitutions or omissions if the part really wasn't needed.

With the green one I was really scavenging for parts, as you can see in the random inclusion of red and white parts toward the top (the last part you build).

For the blue ESB you can see the gray cone piece I used. I should probable swap that out if I find a blue cylinder.

All in all, the ESB was really fun to build once I was finished organizing all the parts (this took several hours--I may skip this step next time I build something from PDFed instructions.)

Finally, here is what @siskita built:

She described it as a factory that makes genetically engineered plants. Alas, try got out of control and attacked their makers. When you're attacked by one you exude your own carbonite (the Han Solo frozen in carbonite piece from the Slave-1 set is in there someplace). Funny thing is that this reminds me of an episode of Heroman that Siskita hasn't seen. Go figure!
