Just finished watching #RaOne and I gotta say, despite the cultural issues, it was a lot of fun., a photo by thepetecom on Flickr.
And by cultural issues I mean the 4 or 5 music videos injected into the film. We're not used to those over here in the west. But it was great to see an action movie that had a moral heart and still managed to keep things fresh and fun. Not perfect, but definitely worth checking out--especially if you're tired of the same old "white man saves the day" model of action movie Hollywood can't seem to stop making.
