TERRORISM PROSECUTIONS A JOKE

Apparently, based on the amount of terrorists being convicted, we're back to pre-911 levels. The world is normal again. Of course, don't let Bush, Cheney and Rummy here this, but [http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/09/03/AR2006090300768.html|a September 4, 2006 article] at WashingtonPost.Com is reporting that not much is geting done in the "taking terrorists off the streets" front--but don't assume I'm telling the truth, check out this clip from the above-linked article:
Justice Department prosecutions of international terrorism cases, which surged in volume after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks, have nearly returned to the levels seen prior to the hijackings, according to an independent analysis of government data released yesterday. The study of data by the Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse (TRAC), an affiliate of Syracuse University in New York, also showed that as many as nine out of 10 terrorism investigations do not result in prosecutions, that most charges are not related to terrorism and that only about a third of those prosecuted end up in prison.
In short, ninety percent of the people the USG thinks are terrorists aren't according to the justice system, here, in the United States. More evidence that terrorism is NOT a threat to us in the least. Thank you, and good day...
