I'm sure I'm not the only person with a blog on Utterz, so I thought I'd sample some of my wares in case anyone might share similar interests to mine. Here are some of my latest posts:
US SAYS IRANS REVOLUTIONARY GUARD ARE TERRORISTS, but
I ponder what would happen if the Republican Party was designated a terrorist organization and business with America was banned. (A completely hypothetical situation, of course.)
OLPCXOLPotD: News Round-Up and Just 7 More Days!!
There have been so many news stories/posts about the OLPC XO laptop around the web lately, so, I decided to roll them all into one big post.
Danger: Diabolik Self-Indulgence
For the bad-movie geeks out there, I blog about the screening of the Mario Bava classic "Danger: Diabolik" that TheWife took me to the other night. Is was a great evening with the film being part of a double feature with the 1980 "Flash Gordon" which was hosted by "Shaun of the Dead" director Edgar Wright, who brought along Timothy Dalton and Joe Dante. The latter is a huge Mario Bava fan, so he talked about "Diabolik" for a bit. Anyway, great movie--check it out if you like cheesy 1960s psychedelic spy/caper movies.
OLPCXOLPotD: BIRMINGHAM, ALABAMA ORDERS 15,000 XO LAPTOPS
Yep, another XO post--OLPCXOLPotD does stand for "OLPC XO Laptop Post of the Day" after all. ;)
NEBRASKA MALL SHOOTING, I know what youre thinking
This one is nice and offensive. I talk about the "national shock" the US goes through every time there's a "massacre" like this despite the "whateverness" we greet news of stacks of people dying in Iraq every day.
Oh, and I also have up a Pocket Review of "Battlestar Galactica Razor" which is now on DVD.
OK, that's a nice taste of my main page right now. Serious, light, fun, geeky, I try to cover all the bases. I'm hoping that someone will design a WordPress plugin that cross-posts to Utterz to make this sort of blog-sharing easier.
Got a blog? Why not Utter about it? I'm always looking for good stuff to read.
