"In their suit, the tobacco companies, along with several local retailers and trade organizations, allege that the posters violate their First Amendment rights because the "mandated signs restrict Plaintiffs' ability to communicate about lawful products with adult customers."" Huh, the cigarrette companies say these signs violate their freedom of speech. What about the city's right to freedom of speech? Better yet, why did the Supreme Court even say that corporations had free speech rights?
