First off, YAY!! I’ve been doing “Draw Every Day” drawings since January 1, 2012. Thanks to the leap year, this means drawing #183 is precisely the final drawing of the first half of the Draw Every Day 2012 project. To be clear (and honest) I have not drawn every day. I wish it was so, but life is just too hectic and unpredictable. HOWEVER, I have one drawing for every day this year. I still think that’s quite a huge accomplishment.
Not only do I have 183 drawings, but quite a few of them represent some cool ideas for characters and/or stories. This has been an incredibly useful exercise every day. I can’t wait to see what my strange little brain can come up with for the rest of the year.
OH and this character is called “Instructor”. He (“It” really) is from the #Numerica project that I developed last month while working hard to catch up on my Drawing Every Day drawings–as such, you’ll see the characters and explanations of them and their world popping up over the last and the next few days on my blog. This robot teaches the children in Numerica. It teaches them things no teacher should teach–how to die.
See all of the Numerica drawings.
