So, here's another waterway shot with gondolas, but I thought it was neat to capture the two tourists tentatively looking on. Notice their grips on those posts. Just posted on my 500px: Reading by the Bridge

I've been to a lot of beautiful places and always find it interesting when I see people who do "normal" things in such places. Like this woman who, amidst the stunning city of Venice just sat down by a bridge and began reading. After spending time in Venice, I suppose it could be just enough to be there. Just posted on my 500px: WC

I've always loved the European use of the phrase "Water Closet." It seems so much more appropriate than "bathroom" or even "restroom." This was taken in Venice, which is a city where it's very easy to get lost. When I was there in June of 2013, these "WC" stickers were everywhere, along with signs. I think tourists get lost, have to urinate and don't want to wait until they find their destination. That's just my guess, though. I just knew I needed to end up with at least one photo of the ubiquitous stickers. http://ift.tt/1mSIqfj
