TheNYC: 8th ave 14th Street Subway

This subway station is decorated with these whimsical little creaturesmade of bronze. They're all sculpted in various stages of mischief. TheWife is taking a picture of one that is being eaten by an aligatorliving in the NYC sewers.



In the background you can see city contractors working on a subwaytrack. Just before I took this picture I heard some sort of authorityfigure yell at them about having just two hours to get the job done. How's that for work incentive?
