Check it out! I found more of my old HTML files. Here's a screencap of my site from late 1999--more than 8 years ago :)



This actually is one of my favorite layouts ever--I don't remember why I changed it. I think I got bored. Lame excuse for a redesign. I do know that eventually I wanted to set up, what was called at the time, an "Open Journal". This was the first time I was introduced to a formalized concept that we'd eventually come to call "blogging."



I was already blogging, in a way, with weekly updates to "The Bitch Page." I would complain about things in my world and the world in general that bugged me.



Actually, that wasn't blogging "in a way", that was precisely blogging, minus all the automatic stuff behind-the-scenes. ^_^



Back then The Bitch Page was kept up by manually editing static HTML files--which is why I only updated weekly. Slowly but surely I've been reposting these items, adding them to my current WordPress database. Check out these early posts here:

One thing that is pretty much gone completely from any of my websites, sadly, are my fanboy interests. I'm still into scifi, but a combination of world events and my favorite franchises coming to suck, has largely repelled me from the world of fandom. Next, I'll be posting a screencap of The SciFi Junk Drawer, my page for my favorite fanboy-related stuff.



Ah, the good old days!
