McCain Fear-Mongering for Votes

I snagged the above screencap from a March 14, 2008 article from Reuters.com (here: http://www.reuters.com/…3520080314 ) which reports on a really sad bit of news. John McCain is now stooping to fear mongering. You've got to love it when he says that Al Qaeda watches our news and follows our candidates but conveniently leaves out the fact that all three major candidates are planning on staying in Iraq for the foreseeable future.

I'll go out on a limb and say that AQ doesn't give a crap which candidate or which party wins in November because it won't mean a major change in foreign policy. Clinton and Obama both say they won't pull out of Iraq immediately and McCain wants to stay for a century! So no matter who wins, AQ gets to party on because we're going to keep doing lame things in the Middle East.

In the meantime, if violence in Iraq gets worse, show the terrorists they're wrong by voting McCain.

And if you can follow that logic, I've got a war in Iraq to sell you!
