Bush Says Pace of Progress May Mean Fewer U.S. Forces
Ohhhh, so it's how fast things are improving that is causing you to consider reducing troops in Iraq! Of course it had nothing to do with the futility of US troops in Iraq--it's all about the "pace of progress." Perhaps you're not even lying when using those exact words and because the pace of progress is so slow you want to reduce troops.
Either way, you're going to play like it was your idea even though I could have sworn I've been seeing stories about generals saying that the surge wasn't working and that we should begin reducing troop numbers.
