Awesome music video: "We are all connected" http://SymphonyOfScience.com (via http://garr.posterous.com)

What a cool remix featuring samples of three of my heros: Sagan, Feynman, and deGrasse Tyson. And indeed we are all connected to each other and to the cosmos. We are star stuff. That idea makes some people feel small, but as Dr. Tyson has said before, that realization that we are but a speck, but a blip in the continuum, makes me feel big. I am blown away by science and the study of the cosmos. The inconceivable nature of nature is an inspiration. We know yet hardly anything of what is to be known, but what we do know is inspiring. I should have been a bongo-playing physicist too...

I love these things--turning scientists into techno music seems incredibly appropriate and the message is so important. In fact, I *really* love the idea that we exist so that the cosmos can understand itself. That concept just makes me want to learn more and more and never stop learning about the universe...
