What a truly perfect idea from AmericanHumanist.org: Let's forget trusting in God and start trusting in *good*

What a perfect example this sets! Doing good seriously limits the bad we can do. It even suggests a greater value in letting others do bad to you over any preemptive bad you do to others to stop them from doing bad to you. "Good" is a concept--you can't use it to victimize or oppress others. "Good" can't be used as an excuse to stop gays from marrying. "Good" also can't be used to stop you from going to church or from speaking freely. Just make sure you're trusting good while exercising your free speech.

Think about it: If you only do good, how can you go wrong?
