Partaking in my NYC Memorial Day tradition... Visiting the Ft. Washington monument in North Manhattan.

It's where American soldiers *literally* fought for our country.

I was glad to see the graffiti from last year has been cleaned off.

I'm so respectful with my hat off but my earbuds in >_

Someone left flowers this year.

This monument has been there for 109 years!
