#wtfobama Obama to meet with Peru's racist president--amazing what Obama can ignore for a fellow capitalist

OBAMA Alert ! What if a public figure like a President called your KIDS Barbaric Savages and 3rd. Class Citizen????

Obama! What if your president called your KIDS Barbaric Savages and 3rd. Class Citizen????

OK, pips.... Perus President Allan Garcia just less than a year ago had called ON PUBLIC TELEVISION the Indigenous Peoples of Peru "3rd Class Citizen" and "Barbaric Savages who stand in the way pf Perus Progress"  !!!!

OUCH !

NOW.....On June 1, 2010 U.S. president Barack Obama will receive Peru's president Alan Garcia at the White House.  OUCH!

A year has passed since the Bagua Massacre in Peru, where hundreds of people were killed and injured in a clash between Indigenous peoples and Peruvian police. Until today not a single official of the Peruvian government has been prosecuted.

Instead, Alan Garcia has declared June 5 on the first anniversary of the Bagua massacre, as the National Day of the Peruvian Rum in a gesture that represents a mockery to the pain and loss of relatives of civilians and police members killed that day.!!!!!!

Hit up any of those links for more info. But yeah, seems like most folks are just ignoring what happened in Peru last year--in a nutshell, #BigBusiness wants to get at the resources under the feet of Peruvian indigenous people and Peru's government is all for letting them--even to the extent of providing military support for this foreign investment.

AKA, #BigBusiness hired Peru's military to shove Peru's indigenous people off their land against their will.

Three cheers for the free market, right?

How many more examples of corporations being amoral bastards do we need before we start pushing for serious regulation of them? Corporations have the same rights as humans, but they have certain powers as corporations that humans don't have--like, can you raise money by selling stock? No. Corporations can. This makes them financially superhuman. It's disgusting and it allows them to do things like hire entire governments to do their bidding in countries like Peru and around the world.

Corporations need lifespans and they don't need free speech. They don't have a right to exist like humans do--especially since they are willing to rob humans of that right to exist (as the Bagua Massacre taught us).

SOMEthing must be done here.
