BUSH HAS A HARD TIME CONNECTING IRAQ TO TERROR, TOO!

I'd like to thank [http://www.robthomasmusic.com/|Rob Thomas] for calling attention to a comment Bush made to Katie Couric during the interview with him that she ran on her innaugural flight on the CBS Evening News. Thomas was on [http://www.hbo.com/billmaher/episode/|Real Time with Bill Maher] last Friday and he pointed out the below quote (emphasis added by me):
Well, I mean that a defeat in Iraq will embolden the enemy and will provide the enemy – more opportunity to train, plan, to attack us. That's what I mean. There – it's – you know, one of the hardest parts of my job is to connect Iraq to the war on terror.
Oh, cool! So, it's not just us--Bush has trouble doing it, too! I feel so much better now! Gotta love a media that doesn't pounce on a statement like that. Makes you wonder why they're getting paid. Check out the entire transcript of the interview [http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2006/09/06/five_years/main1979933.shtml|here] and the section that contains the above quote [http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2006/09/06/five_years/main1980074.shtml|here].
